Default Pretty nice Garnet Red 69 Z on Ebay

Saw this car... it looks pretty nice... appears to have original interior, looks to be fairly unmolested the stripes actually look correct although it is missing the trunk emblem for some reason. The car looks as though it needs a good cleaning on the under carriage but looks nice from a first glance and it is a good color with a 47k buy it now...

I'm interested in opinions as to what $48KUS buys these days, and if this is typical. For $48KUS, I would expect, at a minimum, a car with a correctly painted grill, correct emblems, exhaust that was stock appearing, etc.

And the name of this place sure is familiar for some reason...

48k doesnt buy a nice Z these days unless the owner has been living under a rock..and isnt up on values. I havent owned a Z in over a year because of the prices. I think they are way over valued IMO at the present time.

Does anyone know how many 69 Z28's were built? I'm not a follower of the Z, but I thought it was a fairly rare car. I looked on ebay the other day and it seemed like there was a large amount of 69 Z28's for sale. A lot of them were probably fake, I didn't read all the descriptions. Just curious.

GM built just over 20,000 in 69.

Yes - of the 20,000 made - it is said 25,000 have been accounted for...
