Default 1970 Boss 302 Block ID

I was talking to a guy who said he has a 1970 Boss 302 block, He got it from his friend over 25 years ago. The guy said it had spun a rod bearing which damaged the crank. He has the block, 9 con rods 7 pistons, all the valves and a few other pieces of the engine, just small ones he said. The casting number on the block is D0ZE 6C15B, the block is STD bore. The other numbers on the block are 9K14 which i assume is the date code, it also has a 19919 and JK29 on the block. He said it was a 4 bolt main with screw in frost plugs. I have no idea what all these numbers mean, so i will ask all you Ford Gurus out there for some help on the ID of the block. He said it was from a 1970 Boss 302 Mustang. What are these parts worth if it is a real deal. He wants to include with a trade on some other parts. Thanks for the help.

Not a ford guy but screw in plugs is a real good sign of a boss block from what I recall working on them years ago.

The block number looks good but the number is most likely DOZE-6015-B or it could have been a DOZE-6015-C depending upon build date. Looks like he has the right block. Have him check the rear of the block were the bell housing mounts to the block. There is a flat area or flange that should have the VIN on it. Ford's stampings are not as clean as GM's and look funky so don't be alarmed if it looks like the numbers are out of alignment.

definetely post the block and vin if you can find it over at the Boss registry as Denis above has stated. www.boss302.com someone over there is always looking for a DOZE block.

I had the guy recheck the block number and it was DOZE-6015-B. He is going to check for the VIN today. He wants to get 1500.00 for all the parts he has. There are 9 connecting rods as well.I can not findwhat the rods are worth anywhere. He said they are the boss rods with a 3/8 rod bolt. Does this seems fair as there is shipping also. I went to the Boss 302 site and looks like i will have to register to post an ad. Thanks for all the help.
