Would anybody be interested in reading about the crossram 302 engine project I just completed for a customer (who also happens to be a member here)?
To spare the sYc's bandwidth, please go to my website (link below in my sig line) and click on the "Special Projects" link on the main page. From there, go to "The Engine Room", and then click on "The Crossram 302 Project". On the last page you can download a video of the engine running on the dyno. (I'm waiting on my copy of the dyno sheet, and I'll post it as soon as it comes in.) To spare some bandwidth on my site, please don't download the video directly...instead, please right click and select "save target as" to save a copy to your computer. I don't want to let the cat out of the bag just yet, so you'll have to read the article to see what kind of numbers it made. ![]() I've also added a lot of other stuff to my site as well. Feel free to check out "The Chevelle Project" also under the special projects intro page which will cover the progress of my current personal `67 Chevelle SS396 project. Speaking of the Chevelle project, I hope to have the engine finished for it and on the dyno very soon. I'll post up when it's all wrapped up. Eric ![]() |

Sounds interesting Eric. I know my heads went to a shop for some custom work and testing on a crossram engine so seeing the results from that should be interesting as well.

Very informative, with lots of great pictures following the various steps. It also explains 'why' not just 'how' it was done. Excellent story!

Thanks guys.
![]() When it's all said & done, I had a lot of fun with that project. There were a few hurdles to clear, but I think it turned out pretty well especially considering there were no "tricks" incorporated into that build whatsoever. There's still quite a bit of additional power that could be had out of that combination with some cylinder head porting, plus a few other little "tweaks" here & there. ![]() Eric ![]() |
