Default EBAY SCAM.....

Got an email from a site member this morning about an EBAY scammer using photos/info of my 70 L78 car in his ad....bidding is up to over $1,000,000.... There must be something that can be done in our hobby to make Ebay clean up their act....

Good luck Wilma...Hammer Time!!!.

This same crook has a string of other cars listed too...some bids are over 55 million!.
How can these listings even be alive when the guy is noted as 'Not a registered user'?.

Friggin' eBay ...they may deserve the BS they're going through for allowing things to continue when they could've made changes, but it's surely not fair to the innocents who get caught up in it all..

It makes me sick that we as enthusiasts put our photos and information on the internet for others to enjoy and some yo-yo gets his kicks by putting them on eBay and purports to own the car.

It takes all kinds to make the world go round...

Karen has already contacted her friends in the Attorney General's Office and has gotten the name of the corporate counsel for Ebay....should be fun!! But, it gets better...seems tthat Dynacorn has a Canadian divsion called Goldenleaf Automotive...guess who's car is on the front cover of their Nova catalog..??? This hobby is getting out of hand...I may switch to collecting stamps...
