What GM BBC would have come with factory headers fitted with Chrome snog tubes?? Early Vet with side pipes maybe??

May be I can add some info to help. They were prior to 76 very short only about 2 feet overall, the bottom exhaust flange was not like a normal header but like an exhaust manifold both sides identical with big turn outs towards the inner fender. Gm part stickers on them which of course I did not write down the numbers.Also seemed to be grade 400 stainless.

I saw a pile of something like this at Pomona years ago. I think the guy said they were on Motor Homes with big blocks. It's a possibility.

Just to close this one Martin you were right. I found a picture of another set like I had NOS.They came off an old school bus.Why chrome smog tubes on a bus is beyond me.I just sold mine to a guy who wanted them for his 34 ford with a bbc and am glad they were not a vet item.
