Default Nova parking / emergency brake - NOS ?

Hi! I found an emergency / parking brake cable in my stash of NOS Nova parts.... it even has the correct part number for one (group 4.779, number 3923531), but the part in the box doesn't look like a Nova item.

Can anyone help me identify what it really might be correct for?

Thank you.

Is it 79" or just over 83" in length?
