Default 5 Years ago today.....

At some point today, please stop and realize how blessed we all are to be able to return home tonight and be with our families and loved ones. Five years ago today over 3000 innocent and brave people were not able to do that.

It's hard to believe 5 years have gone by already. I know I will never forget what happened that day and how it changed the world. This morning at 6:30 AM, some of my fellow neighbors held a memorial service in front of a memorial we erected on the farm to honor the son of one our neighbors who helped lead the fight to take back control of Flight 93 as well as all those others who were lost that day.

Take sometime today to realize just how precious life can be.

We flew up to Rhode Island over the weekend and many times during that flight I couldn't help thinking what it must have been like for those people on those planes. A real nightmare that continues for the families left behind.

So hard to believe it's been 5 years already....harder yet I'm sure for anyone involved personally. .

As the years go on it seems more like a 'Pearl Harbour' kind of day for our generation? .

God bless those who lost loved ones also our countries and those who are fighting for the freedom we all enjoy! .

Spent the day listening to the rebroadcast 9-11 Stern show ....They played it in real time as it happened.Kind of strange sitting at the same desk doing the same work and hearing it all over again.... It brought out a lot of emotions I didn't think I still had in me..mostly anger..Never forget!

It is hard to imagine it has been 5 years already... I personally know people who lost their lives all because they were caring on the routines of daily life. Every single person can remember exactly where they were, how they felt and the people they were with.

Never forget.

I was visiting customers at the US Army Aviation Center in Alabama.
Just entered the Air Base when the second jet hit.
Very Scary - the Fort shut down, and went on high alert.

Nowhere to go, so I drove 14 hours to get home.
I will NEVER forget.

I don't know about you guys, but it was real hard to watch
the multitude of programming ( re-creations ) of the 9/11
scenario yesterday. It brought back so many sad memories.

I actually watched the towers collapse from my house. Much
like the Kennedy assinations for one generation, I will never
forget where I was when it happened. Actually, I was at the
bus school stop with my children when the second jet flew
overhead on the way to the second tower.

I hope all those bastards rot in hell
