....time slip, thats is!! How many of you still have time slips from your car from the 70's? POST EM! Who's got that quickest? AND..you gotta be honest! Here are 2 from when my car was raced as "Quarter Mile High" by the dealer in Maumee, Ohio. 11.49 @ 117 ain't to shabby for a SS back then. Even though I race Super Comp on the 8.90 index at 165mph...my heart is always with the Super Stocks. "Sherwood Allen & Ken Montgomery, are you listening" (a private on-going chatter)

![]() ![]() This was for my Nova...started life as an inline 6 with a powerglide and 10 bolt...became a 402ci big block chevy with 8.5 to 1 compression...Crane Fireball cam...Edlebrock Torker 2-0...3310-2 Holley...cheapo Blackjack headers...Turbo 350 with an Art Carr shift kit...3:73 posi taken from a 1969 Z/28 that was totalled. The car ran on unleaded gas (with octane booster), thru the mufflers on L60-15 tires. Pictures were taken at the Street Machine Nationals West-Pomona in 1981 ![]() ![]()

Thanks Brian...
The stance was due to the original 6 cylinder springs (3/4 of a coil removed) and shocks in front and home fabbed one inch metal lowering blocks in the rear. Man, that car was fun!
