Default Water Pump Date

I have a 69 COPO Chevelle that needs a correct water pump. The block casting date is 1/29/69 and the heads are dated 1/29/69 and 2/18/69. The engine was assembled on 5/28/69.

Should I try to get the water pump dated close to the other casting dates or the engine assembly date?

Thanks for your input in advance!

Default Re: Water Pump Date

Try to keep the water pump date within 4-6 weeks of the
assmebly date of the engine.
