Default Camshaft and Dist Values

I am cleaning out a bunch of old parts that my father collected when he was racing in the late 60's early 70's. It's all packed in the attic, so as I go down there, I'll be digging stuff out. I can figure out what the stuff is, but don't really know what the stuff is worth, if anything. I have a couple camshafts - One is an early (rear oil groove) 3863144 The other doesn't have a rear groove and is a 3904366. I also have a couple distributors. One is a 1111109 with a date code of 5 J 13. It has been converted to some type of electronic ignition, so the points are gone, but otherwise it is in good shape (still has the orange overspray) and the vaccum advance is still there. The other is 1110874 with a date of 7 B 18. That is complete and in good shape as well. This board might not be the one to post for that one, but since I posted the others, I figured I would put it up. TIA to anyone who can help.
Dan

What's the scoop on the 3904366 camshaft? Is it an old, original one? The reason I ask is, I am involved in Pure Stock racing, and I've been looking for a known *original* LS6/L72/L78 camshaft to run through the cam doctor and check the specs versus the current reproduction cams...so I might be interested? Any help is appreciated!

With the clearance set at .024" .028" you get .496" on the intake and .492" on the exhaust. Over the years GM opened up the clearance specs from .020" .024" to the later .024" .028" This affected the power characteristics of the engine especially the bottom end torque output. Tight clearances would help in launching on poor traction tires.
