HELP!!! MOTOR HELP ID NEEDED

Ok Fellas...This is the second time this ole guy is tryin this. I made a post and added a picture and it was evidently too big and when I hit your back button everything was gone! Im a Mopar fella myself but Ive owned everything from Fords to a Desoto and love em all!
My queston is that I have come across what appears to be possibly a desirable piece. I dont have the knowledge of all this numbers matching thing, nor the money.... I got me a wife instead! Ya all be sure to get you at least ONE of THEM to keep you from getting what ya really want in life... Ok enuff said by this ole guy!
I have a 512 Casting block with what appears to be some sort of VIN number on it. Eyein it all up I figure its been decked but there is another number up over by the oil filter. Thats lookin like # 19N647907. Bought the whole shabang in a 55 Chevy old style gasser that I jus love. Wonderin what I got me here for a motor. Any help you younger fellas could give me would be greatly appreciated.... and guys? Could ya have me up a Rebel Flag down there with the smileys when I come back?

According to the COPO site that is a COPO block. Here is the info as listed on there; 647907 Scuncio Chevrolet Greenville, RI Tuxedo Black. I don't know if the car is still around but the block is worth a good bit. I'll bet there are several members here that would love to buy the block from you.

Well, thanks anyway guys. ANd i dont have just the block.... I got ther whole shabang right from the oil pan to the carberator. It all came out of a car a local fella supposedly bought when he was young, but with the draft off he went.I knew his father and its been in the barn for a number of years collecting dust but in a safe place. The car was let go long ago but the man didnt buy the motor with it. My friends son bought the car brand new back then, but it was not bought in RI.... my friend is sure of it. He still has some paperwork floating around somewhere but its all too much for him now to look at. It turns and I got spark after fussin with it for awhile,so It should fire up. I thought I had me something special I was thinkin maybe it was one of those Yenko engines.Then again....thought i had me somethin when i married the misses 36 years ago too. Oh well. Im not the lucky type. Ill re-ring, paint it up nice, and run it to the cruises a few times in the summer.

I think they are telling you it IS something special.

It may is not a Yenko engine but it's the next best thing. That engine is worth a lot more that an ordinary 427. I you just want an engine to run in your 55 I would sell this one and use the money to build one hell of a motot.
