Auto Cusom Carpets (ACC) does have a molded reproduction available for the GM A-bodies. However, it is not an exact reproduction as it does not have the built-in sectional mats in the front on the driver's and passenger's side. Chevelles had these, don't know about Oldsmobiles.

I have had them send me a sample in the past and the pattern is reasonably close to the original. Factory ones are almost impossible to find.

Hope this helps and good luck.

I don't remember the name of the manufacturer of our mats but they have never fit the tunnel very well. As Don said, they don't have the rectangular pattern where your feet rest. If you ever have a water leak in the cowl area, you can kiss your floor pan goodbye. The water just lays under there until it eats out the floor. A friend had a Beaumont and the floor was gone in 3 years. Not good.

I bought a set from ACC for a Cutlass Cop car i restored a few years back> Originals were rubber and pliable. Repros are vynal and weigh a lot more than orig as they are thicker. If you go that route you will need to install them on a warm day after leaving them in the sun for about 30 minutes. They will be nice and soft and will be much easier to install> Recently heard froma mopar source that a company out of London Ont called NOS Reproductions has a resource for rubber mats. The mopar source says they were a great fit. The owner of NOS is Dale Phile, any of you guys in the Southwest ont region may know more.
