Reproduction.
The original clips on common trim rings are typically 3 prong.

There is a guy on ebay selling the exact set of (4) of the above trim rings and the original boxes with GM part number #545910. Does this mean that the trim rings I have pictured above are actually GM? Is there anything else I should look for on the trim rings? Any help would be great considering I almost threw them out! Has anyone else ever owned or seen these trim rings upfront?

Hey Sal, I have a set of trim rings like what's in your pics. Came with a set of 15 x 7 ralleys I bought 10 years ago. I don't know if they are originals or reproductions but I was under the impression that there were some sort of clips on them...I think four clips equal distance apart. Someone here should know something I would think.

Sal, the 4 clip trim rings are the early style clip, the later 2nd. design has clips similar to yours, I have new 15 inch NOS GM trim rings still in the original boxes, they are 2nd. design also, I'll compare them to yours
Mike
