Did GM install different governors in the TH400 trans for the different gear ratios in the rear? EG; 3.55 vs 4.10 in a BB Nova or Camaro..

The Governor used was dictated by the engine,not the model or rearend ratio.
Example:
*1970 Hi-Perf 402 & 454 engine used Governor #8625622.
*1970 Spec.Hi-Perf 402 used #8626866 & Spec. Hi-Perf 454 used #8626612.

While on the T-400 subject........where can I find a web site or info on what trans gear to use with a given tire DIA and 3:31 gears...........and then where to buy colored gear and HOW to install/change gear.........
