I've always read that Berger received 50 COPO Camaro's.
The COPO.com website only lists 40. Which is the correct number, if anybody really knows? Andy ![]()

Andy,
I posed this very question to Dale Berger when I was researching some COPOs a few years ago and the number of Camaros he identified was 40, to the best of his recollection. I also talked to other employees who referred me back to the then "resident expert", Mr. Barker. His number was 50 due to the fact that he had read it somewhere. If you look at the body of known info., current vins and body number sequences, I would tend to believe that 40 is a more accurate number of Berger sold COPO Camaros. Maybe some day we'll know for certain. Stefano |
