The AC-15 rad. cap for the Z/28 is racking in about $200-$250. The Correct unit for the 1966 big block Corvettes is about $275-$350.

Unless you get a bidding war on eBay between two guys who both want to win. Then it's stupid-money time.

Exactly
I was bidding on a pair of NOS Outer tie rods the other day ...I dropped out when they crossed $300 for a pair... they sold for over $400. The inners went ofr the same and the idler arm went for $370. Basically $1,100 bucks for a half of a front end rebuild. ![]() Hard to justify unless you have a high dollar car.

[/ QUOTE ] Bud I would recommend you send your origninal cap to John Pirkle for restoration, Cost reasonable and final product is outstanding, He just rebuilt and replated my original! Then you could install or E-bay it and see if the Fluke can be repeated?? ![]() Jim
