You can also stay at the Fairfield next door. I just made my reservations a minute ago. Stayed there last year and it was nice.

Charley, that black stuff on the walls wasn't black paint? That would really raise hell with my allergies. Roger

Not joking. Out here in Ca. that building would have been evacuated. Black Mold is very serious stuff. Out here you hire certified crews to work on it and they enter the rooms wirh gas masks on and the clean up and testing costs are amazing.. I was in shock they were renting those rooms. Things get treated differently in differtent parts of the country I guess. I think the mold was left over from a leak they had and was limited to one group of rooms and I would imagine the place has been cleaned up by now.

Ask Hilton Hotel Chain about Mold. They built a new tower within their Waikiki property. It sat vacant for sometime while they gutted and re-did the interior a 2nd time due to mold somehow showing up. They thought it was best to go that route instead of just the subject area. Guess they thought it best to get it all and not let it appear in other parts of the building, along with not taking the chance of a big payout to guests!!!
