Default 1970 CKP code

I noticed that GM had a CKP Engine code for the 70 model year......L-89 Aluminum heads, Turbo 400....anyone ever seen one????? I found the code, but can't find any production numbers......is it possible that there were never any built .........

In 1970 only the Chevelle/El Camino SS was possible to receive the L78/L89 Al. Head engine from the factory.Available for roughly the first 85 days of production.
Tonawanda produced engines:
18=CKT Manual
10=CKP TH400
Chevrolet made 18 cars for them,the remaining 10 were service engines.
Very few of those 18 exist today.I know of two documented.
No Novas,or other cars were built with the L78/L89 from the factory.
