Im building a a mid performance 454 with oval port heads and approx 10.5-1 compression!Cam is good to just over 5000 and I will run a 750 Holley.What intake have you guys had good luck with or would reccomend for a street driven big block,its just a weekender that I want to tease the local ricers with and maybe take to the strip once or twice!

Edelbrock RPM. Going to be building a similar motor for a 70 Chevelle we are starting on. Think about a hyd roller also.

I was going through some parts in my shed and came across a big block GM aluminum intake #3933163 date 3-11-68 is this intake worth anything? Date could be 3-11-69 can't tell.

Jeff,
I believe you have a factory intake for an L72 (427-425 hp) or L78 (396-275 hp) engine. Not sure how hard these are to find. -Sam
