Need Help w/GM Part # BB Valve Covers
Was doing some post Christmas cleaning in the basement and found 2 Chevy NOS big block chrome valve covers in boxes. Part #'s are GR 0.986 1#338262 and 1#338261. Can someone tell me what these were orginally for?

I show those as 1970 BB Chevelle covers. My book shows them as painted however. Are they for sale??? PM me if interested.

Rick, the valve covers are chrome and I bought them at Carlisle 20+ years ago. The boxes are dated December 1983. If I get a chance, I'll try to post a picture.
