Baltimore Plant Closure
It's official. GM is closing the Baltimore plant in 2005 at the end of the Astro van production for the year. We need a reunion there before the place closes. Both of our Chevelles were built at that plant.

Chevelleless after 46 years......but we did find a low mileage, six speed, silver 2005 Corvette. It will just have to do for now.

They build Astro vans there and this is the last year for them. Sales aren't very good either. They were looking at something like $800 million to refurbish the plant for another vehicle. The auto business is a tough place to be these days.
