Local guy has a 64 GTO tri power 4 speed convertible. Looks like one repaint, new interior, other than that original. Drives and looks good. His asking price is 20K. I'm not that familiar with GTO's. Any opinions from goat people?

If is not a ugly color combo it sounds very fair.

If it is a real GTO and in good condition, $20,000 is a very good price. Does he have PHS documentation? If not, I would get it.

Sounds pretty cheap for a convert.
Watch out for 64/65's because the GTO is an option on the LeMans. Code 382 for $295.90 in 64. In 1966-1971 the GTO was its own model. Do yourself a favor and run the PHS on ANY Pontiac you plan on buying. Money well spent. Hope this helps.
