My search just ended and I mortgaged the house and purchased a beautiful GM 1969 rosewood wheel. As an added bonus it came with the GM hub and horn cap. The question is this: the attached photo is of the wheel installed on the car with the GM horncap it came with. But I noticed that it has a sharp edge and not the smooth rounded edge as the repro cap has (see next photo) Which is the right cap for a Feb built 1969 Camaro? Thanks

The repro cap is correct.
The cap shown on the rosewood is from the '64-'66 2-spoke wood wheel. And before you bash the repro, OE GM caps were poorly designed. The rivets retaining the mounting ring were flimsy and easily broken.

Excellent! thanks for the help. What vehicles used the GM cap that I have? Does anyone out there need one? -Steve

the cap shown is for a 66 only. the 64-65 cap had a lucite center.
