Default fuel line routing

tryin to get that old school high performance look for my camaro.what kind of fuel line was used on a high performance sbc in a 70's camaro.did they use 3/8th metal tubing to a fuel log then to each bowl of a holley or did they use alot of rubber hose to a fuel log.i don't want to use braided line due to possibly not available yet.does anyone have pics of high performance build-ups in 70's chevy cars which would show the fuel line.
