Default Paint color questions.

I am having a hard time selecting a color to paint my 72 Nova SS. It was originally code 11 Antique white. I'd like to paint it white again but, it seems every other Nova in my area is white... I am leaning towards covert tan or fathom blue. Were there 2 different colors of fathom blue? I've seen pics of 68's where it looks really dark but, on the 70-72 cars, it seems to be a little lighter and a little more grey. I'm building it as a sleeper so, plain jane is kind of what I'm lookin for. Thanks for any info you could provide. John

I also like Pontiac Verdoro Green a lot on the GTO but, I'm afraid it would look like puke on my Nova...

There are some folks here who are partial to Gobi beige.

Yes the two fathom blues are not the same color, 68 is darker with somewhat less metallic look.
Forrest green, 69 fathom green, burnished brown are all good sleeper colors.

What color is the interior? The combo can make a big difference. Earl

The Verdoro Green is very nice. Hey Albert...jump in give him the pros and cons of Fathom Green.

Green was very popular as we all know all too well...green is a good "Sleeper" color.

The interior is black w/black custom bench. Gonna keep the column shifter, either bare rallys or factory hubcaps, and quiet pipes too. I will let the 454 speak for itself... Just love the sleeper look.

I like the gobi beige, still like the verdoro green and fathom blue, I agree the burnished brown would make a killer sleeper too.
