Default 68 Rally Sport paint question.............

I need a good picture of the door jamb area at the 1/4 panel on a 68 RS Camaro with the black-out treatment on the bottom of the car. It needs to be an original unrestored or a correctly restored car. Also I need to see the end of the door at the rear. My car had the original black paint stripped before it was repainted in 82 so I had nothing to go by while doing this repaint. The fronts of the jambs and doors still had the original black paint under the (wrong) maroon repaint. Any and all help is appreciated. Steve, that does help. Do you happen to have a picture where it is at a lower angle, maybe straight on looking into the corner of the jamb? Is this your car?....................RatPack................... ...

Steve, thanks for that picture also. The paint line is about right for the black-out treatment. That door has better paint coverage than what mine did. From what I found when removing the paint was very poor coverage on the door ends and the bottom of the door. Not sure why, maybe the guy did not feel like bending over to get the bottoms of the doors painted. You have a private message................RatPack................

I've never seen that much black, very heavy and a lot was covered.Usually a light mist just to get the color down..
