Default Yenko Paperwork

Just thought you might find this story interesting.

I spoke with Warren Dernoshek(sp) who was a mechanic for Yenko Chevy. Anyway he happens to have some records (shipper, invoices...)for cars sold in 67,68 and 69 and others. I asked about a particular car, but he had none on that car. So I asked him how he procured the records and he told me the following:

When Yenko Chevy moved to McMurray (sp) the old building became a Saab dealership which is where Warren worked. Don wanted to add another car franchise in that building and needed more space so they cleaned out the attic above the parts department. That is where the the old records were stored and Warren took a couple of boxes before they were shipped to the dump. BTW the franchise was for the YUGO automobile. The moral to the story is, the Yugo was in fact good for something.
