This has probably been covered a billion times before, but....
I've looked at Mr. Cuneen's COPO site where the 69 Yenko Camaro color breakdown is listed. It appears there were no black or red Yenko Camaros produced. Out of curiousity, what then is the story behind the Garnet Red Yenko featured in the Musclecar book covering Otis Chandler's collection (also has the green Baldwin/Motion 69 Camaro)?

The Jack Douglass Yenkos were sold in non traditional Yenko Colors such as Red, Black and White ,as well as the other traditional colors. Jack's General Manager remembers putting a black one into demo service for himself. |
