I don't know about the Camaros, but I think there are 35 Chevelles and 12 that are matching numbers and approximately 7 Novas that are documented.

I believe the generally accepted production quantities are: 54 - '67 Camaros, 65 - '68 Camaros, 198 - '69 Camaros, 99 - '69 Chevelles, 37 - '69 Novas and 175 - '70 Novas. That's a total of 628 cars. I'm not sure about the #'s for Stingers or Vegas. As for how many are left, no one knows for sure, but I bet a few on the board could take an educated guess. I have heard there are 7 - 1969 Yenko Novas around.

I'll have to check with dad, but I want to say that our Nova made either #8 or #9 of the '69s found, or only about Ü of the amount believed to have been built. I think there was around 162(?) "Stinger" Corvairs built, along with 19 "Turbo Z" Camaros built in 1981. As for how many "Stinger" Vegas were built, I have NO idea.

64 1968 Yenko 427 Camaros COPO 9737 L78 may be some COPO L72

99 1969 Yenko 427 Chevelles COPO 9562 9737
198 1969 Yenko 427 Camaros COPO 9561 9737 (may have been some additional 427 Camaros sold w/Yenko stripes)

1971 to 1973 Yenko Stinger Vegas may be COPO 9711 (an employee said about 20 sold - a letter written by Don Yenko printed in a Yenko parts catalog states 200 were built - a few Vegas had Turbo kits installed and had the "Turbo" decal added to the Stinger decals. (at least one Vega Stinger wagon green)
1981 Yenko Turbo Camaro (about 19)

I guess I could have pointed him in the direction of this page: https://www.yenko.net/dealers/yenko.htm

It's been a work in progress for a while, and will probably continue to be that way as we acquire more info.

Are/Were the '68 Yenko Camaros L78 cars??

Does anyone have a list of VIN's for all the '68 Yenko Camaros built??

I'll accept a simple yes/no answer.

I have a VIN that I need to know if it's on "The list".

Thanks
----------
Rick
