Am I crazy?
Am I crazy or is this guy? I didn't think these were all that rare.

I have actually been out to this guy's shop right here in town. I wanted some 87 Camaro wheels for a project of mine. I was trying to describe the wheels that I wanted to him, he told me that the wheels were very rare and would cost 700.00 for a set. Some coincidence? I later found a couple in a junkyard for 25.00 each, and got the other two at Acker wheel, I think they were 65.00 each there. I have a neighbor here who has two early Camaros, and I mentioned this story to him, he was very familiar with this guy. He said that he never goes there anymore, he would rather drive two hours to GM Sports Salvage or Steve's Camaros when he needs something. I have to agree.

I'll bet his reserve price is $701.00.Definately a shill bidder there.
D&R Classic Camaro is down the street from me.They have a price and picture in their catalog of $129.00 for it. This guy needs to be slapped around. [Edited by mr70 (10-21-2001 at 11:03 PM).]

Yeah but I think you guys REALLY got off topic here. That mask is awesome! I can't believe someone still has one!? Can't you just picture it hanging on the rearview mirror of your car on cruise night? The looks of envy would be worth any price!..or is that 'looks of confusion'.
