Default Anyone from the Ephrata (PA) area in 1967-1976?

Help.

I hit a dead end tracing back my 1967 Z28's history. If you lived in Pennsylvania in 1967-1976, you might help unlock the mystery.

My car was sold used in 1976 by Twin Pine Auto Sales in Ephrata PA, but I don't know anything about the car prior to 1976, except that it was first registered in Pennsylvania on 7/10/67. The state's DMV only goes back 10 years and I called the Twin Pine dealership but they don't have records dating back that far.

I figure whoever traded the car in must've lived in or near Ephrata which is 14 miles from Lancaster and about 20 miles from Maple Grove Raceway.

If anyone visiting this BBS remembers this car in 1967-1976 in the Lancaster township area, or in/near Ephrata PA, or at Maple Grove, please email me at [email protected]. Thanks!

Did you try getting the NICB info?
Deepwater Blue is a great color #2 lowest percent color ordered in 67 so must not be many 67 Z/28's in deepwater blue.

I'd like to get the NICB info but don't have the contacts.

NICB would help with authentication but I'm also doing this so that I might talk to more of the car's early owners. I've had a blast chatting with the others and hearing their stories. Maybe I might even find some early photos and/or add'l documentation to help with the restoration.
