BAT
https://bringatrailer.com/listing/19...-camaro-ss-49/ BU rear. Had a fake window sticker shown early in the auction. Once seller figured out it was fake, it was removed. What about the engine stamp?

Sold for $101,000.
124379N576051 That cowl tag is suspect IMO. 837 alternator is a definate restamp. Seller started off posting a Fake WS claiming it was 1000% original, then took it down after he was called out. Makes you wonder what else is 1000% original.

So the goo on the trim tag rivet appears to have a finger print in it. Is that normal?

It varies on cowls tags but known original tags have been observed like this. That doesnt mean this tag above is 100% legit.

It is a crappy picture. If it is fake it is one of the ones made after about 2008, as TrimTags.com figured out most of the mistakes they were making. Too many of us called out the fakes and pointed out every flaw. All that did was make it easier for them to create a more perfect fake tag.
But, I don't know that I am ready to call THIS one a fake. BTW, I never call them "repo" tags. They are not reproductions. They are fake. Yes, the fake WS makes one wonder. But I have seen a LOT of guys have WS made for their car without the intent of faking out anyone. The fake WS also showed M22 and deluxe interior. The tag shows standard interior. Just my opinion here, but if someone was wanting to use that WS to fake the car, you would think they would have put on a fake tag at the same time to match the WS.
