I have never seen stats on the breakdown of L78 blocks and the various engine codes. I know there were about 5,200 of these cars produced and we can kind of figure the number of auto vs. manual trans. I think he looked at Nova Resource and saw the production figures for the Nova with an M22 transmission...which is 682.
I wonder what the other number stamped on the pad is from..machine shop?? -wilma
