Was the radio ground clip mounted on the cowl used throughout the 70 year with all radios? My car is 04C build date with the U79 stereo radio. Thanks. Mark

It was initially for cars with a stereo enhanced radio only, such as anything with an 8tk tape which automatically had a 4 speaker stereo, i.e. RPO UM-1 or UM-2.
RPO U-79 was an AM/FM Stereo radio too. RPO U-63 AM & U-69 AM/FM were NOT stereo enhanced and did not come with that particular Hood to ground clip. |
