I had a 71 vega same color i was going to put a V8 in it but bought a 69 340 dart it was brand new only kept it for 6 months

I had 3 Vegas when I was young, but no money to do anything with them. I ended up selling them, but always wanted a V8 Vega. I remember the Summers Brothers V8 Vega in Hot Rod and I loved that car.

Split bumper option? Never heard of it. I thought everybody used Camaro bumpers or cut their Vega bumper.

Boy, I remember when the factory would warranty the fenders for rotting out. They were under coated from one corner to the other and weighed substantially more. same with the Plymouth Volare. Unbelievable how fast they rotted.

i have always wanted to do a V8 Vega...but never found one good enough..

Built a few V8 Monza's...fun little cars..
