Currently running stock style V8 Walker dual exhaust from manifolds to tailpipes. The front pipes are 2" in diameter. Would like to change to 2 1/4" front pipes. The exhaust pipes run between the floor pan and the factory convertible floor brace pan. Anyone out there have the same situation and success with 2 1/4" front pipes. Worried that pipes may hit because of clearance issues.

I think it will be a challenge to run those without having clearance issues. The original 2 inch pipes were machine squashed in that area to give extra clearance. 2 1/4 will be even tougher.
