Default 67 Camaro traction bar rear

Hello folks
Question for you:
On the 67 Camaro rear with traction bar I can find the measurements for distance from the center housing, but since the housing is round what position would the vertical plane on the axle bracket be...straight 6 o'clock...6:15, 7:37? Does anyone have this info? I would be building the rear and want to powdercoat before assembly. Last resort would be to mock the whole thing up with the floor bracket, frame bracket and rod installed and tack it in then pull the housing back out.
Thanks
Chris

Chris,

Gm made a kit that was retrofitted by dealers on some cars to add the traction bar setup. I used to have an NOS kit. I came in a little cloth bag and had instructions. You may want to try and find a copy of the instructions from someone here.

Chris there is a diagram on the final page of the PDF service bulletin posted on the CRG radius rod article (http://www.camaros.org/radiusrod.shtml), direct link to the PDF is http://www.camaros.org/pdf/TSB_67-T-30.pdf, that may help, but I'm not sure if that is enough information to rely on?
Hopefully someone with an original axle can confirm orientation for you!

I measured 4.00" from where the RH axle tube meets the cast center section to the inside edge of the traction bar bracket.
