Looking for a little advice. I'm thinking of trading my cts-v wagon plus cash for a 2015 Z28. Any thoughts, questions concerns?
Thanks Buddy

2011 black diamond editionCTS-V wagon. 27k miles, no winters, serviced at Cadillac always. Supercharger recall done. Just did 2 rear tires approx 100 miles ago. If it was a six speed, I would never sell it. I can send you some pictures if you want. Has the panoramic roof, Recaros and an awesome California Car Cover

My thought was to have one of every generation Z28. The V wagon is an awesome car to drive.

The 2015 Z is an awesome car. While it is designed for the track, I think its an awesome analog naturally aspirated weekend cruiser. I love its "raw" feel.

Both are amazing performance cars. The Cadillac is a refined, posh performer. It handles far beyond the capabilities of most drivers. The Z28 has a hard edge, you can hear the wine of the 3.73 gears due to lack of sound insulation, you feel all the groves and imperfections in the road through the steering wheel and butt meter.
The Z28 Handles better than 90% of its drivers. Getting the most out of either of these cars on a road course will require a very high degree of experience and competency. The Z28 also has a more muscular exhaust note from idle to redine. You feel like your going fast in the Z28, not so much in the CTSV. The V surprises you as to how fast you are moving. Both cars are easily upgradable in the performance department. The NicKey Stage II LSA option yields 850 hp and our Stage III Z28 naturally aspirated option is at 700hp. One thing is for certain, I wouldn't leave either of them stock......GM left too much room for improvement. |
