I went to the Ontario Camaro Nationals in Oakville, Ontario Canada this weekend and was shocked to see 2 COPO Rally Sport Camaros and they were both owned by the same guy!
One I'm sure is the triple black car I've seen posted about here in the past that was restored by the Super Car Workshop. What a Gorgeous car!!! The other was a Fathom Green car, also very nice! |

My friend took more pics of the black car, I'm hoping he will send them to me. I don't know how to post pics here? |

The owner of the RS/COPO's is Tim S. He actually owns 3 RS COPO's, Black, Blue and Green. Tim did purchase the black car from me last month. The blue and green were originally sold in Canada.

Any pics of the blue and green cars in circulation? - I am full up on pics of Steve's black car as I went through two issues of Musclecar Review having drooled all over the cover of the first one

The Lemans blue Copo is a one family owned low mile RS Copo with M22, endura bumper, rosewood wheel and liquid tire chain option. It never left the Toronto area where it sold new.

Steve,
Thanks for posting. I'm surprised to see that you parted with the car after reading the article about your 3 black 69's in a magazine. Amazing to own those 3 gorgeous black 1969 Camaros! All 3 of them are spectacular but that convertible really excites me! 1 guy 3 RS COPO's in Canada!!! Is there any estimate on how many RS COPO's were built? I know only 2 ZL1's came with the RS package. I know there was a guy in Ontario that owned an Orange with Orange houndstooth interior RS COPO, not sure if he still does as I haven't seen it in many years. |
