Default Big block brass oil line fitting Repro vs Original

Figured I'd post some pictures of an original big block brass oil line fitting compared to the reproductions. There's quite a few difference is that you can see just buy looking at them.

And when push comes to shove and with a little time and patience the repo can be made to look very similar to an original other than the heart shaped logo stamped into the original. Ask me how I know........lol

Rick, yes with a lathe (or patience with a file) you could fool most ; )

Unfortunately I don't have a lathe but I do have a jeweler's file.

I have several real ones in my inventory and not a one has that ring as shown in the first photos. Not sure why the same supplier would change that but mine are definitely different. (original on the left and unmodified repop on the right)
