What a great 440 Dart! That was campaigned right in the area of MN that I grew up. I didn't realize White Bear Dodge was such a heavy muscle car seller back in the day, with Landy clinics, etc. I'm pretty sure my Uncle's old red M-code Dart was sold there new, and I believe Wayne Klemz' restored red M-code was as well.

You got to wonder how much stress a car like Hemi post roadrunner does to the 'post sedan' guys on this board. This could be the one type of car that could draw out a chevy post guy out to drool a bit at the dark side..
Btw, its not easy to get into the chrysler display at Woodward. They look for special cars, and its more of an invitational than just forcing your car on display. That is pretty cool. I had to go through a bunch of hoops for my car to even get on a consideration list. |

White Bear Dodge was a BIG player in the muscle car wars back in the day and sponsored a lot of drag racers as well. There was a LOT of high performance Mopars sold out of that dealer.

Recall going to Twin Cities (think that's what the New Brighton track was called) and checking out pre-"Showtime" Tom Hoover running the "White Bear Dodge" Challenger funny car.

Called Twin Cities in the early days and then the name changed to North Star Drag Strip. Tom Hoover was always there and at Minnesota Dragways. Check them out here;
