Default Did Big block engines circa 60's and 70's

have a chrome timing cover either for the 7 or 8 inch balancers straight from the factory, or,
were they aftermarket??

I don't recall any chrome factory timing covers.

a few one off engines had chrome parts. but i would not consider them factory engines
