Can anyone help me out. I have a Chevy BB Oil Pump 3906829 oil pump. Anyone know what engine this was used on? 396-375 hp? 427-425 hp? Was year was engine was it used on a 67 -68- 69 year oil pump?

3906628 oil pump, does anyone know what year and engine this oil pump number was used on? Was it a 396 ci -375 horsepower 1967 Camaro, anyone know, thanks.

my parts manual shows part number 3906628 is the oil pump cover for 67-69 all 396/427 except special high performance, 3906627 is identified as the special hp cover for 65-68 pass 396/427 except hp, 65-69 chevy, chevelle, camaro with special high performance 396 and 69 pass with special high performance 427. the pump assy is 3904827 for 66-69 396/427 except special high performance and 3904826 for 65 pass with special high performance 396/427, 66 chevelle 396, and 66-69 special high performance 427.

reference is Chevrolet passenger, chevelle, nova, camaro parts catalog revision number 2 effective april 1970. pages 1-45 and 1-46 sections 1.652 and 1.723. image on page 1-1p
