Default 1969 427 Camaro ad on CL

Not my listing, claims to be a true 427 Camaro. I e-mailed and asked if he has any paperwork on car.

Way too early build date for a Copo.

It's a convertible so it's already ruled out as being a COPO

Also there was no such thing as a SS427 in the Camaro line.

you have to read the ad correctly

"true SS", check

"true convertible big block", check

so, it IS an SS

it IS a BIG BLOCK convertible

it is the above with a 427 in it now

pretty simple once you learn how to decipher craigslistadese

Not necessarily unless you specifically mean 9560 or 9561 as regardless of engine, couldn't a 9511 rear axle '69 'vert or some other Copo possibility exist that would need to be ruled out first?
Especially when talking '69 Camaros, it's easy to think of the ZL1 and L72 cars as THE Copo cars but other Copos were and/or could've been built that weren't 9560 and 9561's...just sayin'.
