Default 1969 Z28 -- paint

Car was Hugger Orange with deluxe black interior. Was an LOS car. Had this tag under the headliner on passenger side between front roof support and roof.

Cool
http://www.gmphotostore.com/1969-Che...info/53217604/

meaning std stripe color was white. Black stripes required black top in 69 w/ H.O. paint?

just a thought.

Paint codes after the FS&O number on the Chassis Broadcast sheet are dots, that means its should be a special paint color car as well as having black stripes, those two boxes should have 72's in them if it was hugger orange. if it has original paint on it and its oranange then it might be some other GM orange. I'm assuming the cowl tag is a - - paint tag, and not 72 72.

Owner wanted black stripes but not the black vinyl top that would have driven that stripe color with HO. It seems pretty straightforward. LeMans Blue was the same way, right?
