Default A Different Kind of Cruise-In

Hey All,
Eric's post on his Cruise-In experience prompted me to post about this cruise.
I started going to a Cruise-in this summer in Wheelersburg, Oh. It is a little haul from where I live. Wheelersburg is along the Ohio River.

https://www.facebook.com/events/957267314294197/
The show is on the last Saturday of the month starting in May, through Sept. I thought this show was/is interesting because it is not just a lot of old geezers sitting around swapping stories of their Glory Days, not against that BTW. There were 446 cars last month at the show.
W-burg is unincorporated so there are no local cops. When the sun starts to set, the lawn chairs start lining the street and THAT is when things start to remind one of cruise-ins of days past. At my age, I somewhat see this as juvenile & sophomoric, nonetheless, back in the day, I lived for such antics and action (see pics). I'll ad, the guys on bikes are insane.

That green machine looked like an 8V92 double-breasted Yamaha ... ?

Steve, your keen eyes have it right! Yes Detroit D. I thought this guy showed quite a bit of talent and ingenuity and did a nice job of building a unique ride. Wish I took a better pic of the steering. Handle bar is attached to a rod that you pull one handle toward you and the other away.

Ha! I've been there before, at the McDonald's cruise. I spend a month and a half over in KY near Ashland. I was there one night when a guy in a white Pontiac G8 just lit them up all the way down the road in front of McD's. With all of the rain in June this year, I didn't make it over, but we're going up in July next year so hopefully the weather will be better. Thanks for the pics.
