When did they start using bolts ( instead of using nuts ) to attach shifter rod levers on a 1969 Muncie transmission ? The transmission is a 660 main case and has a 306 side cover.

According to what I know ALL 1969 Muncie's used the bolt instead of the nut to attach the levers. It was a new design change made for the 69 production models.
