Default Correct body side molding clip resource

I am looking for a good resource for the correct clips for my body side moldings on my 68 nova. I bought some from my local auto body supply store and thought they were correct, but they aren’t. When I snapped my trim onto these new clips the trim is real loose. These clips actually have a higher radius which put the clip into the molding deeper. If you look at the originals they are almost flat and the one I bought has a radius to it? As you can see the originals have the protective tab also to let the molding rest against the clip. Any help to locate the correct clip would be appreciated.

Jason

What's everyones opinion, do these look close to my originals? If I only had the original part number for the clip.

Hard to tell from a sketch drawing.

Try these guys. http://www.shop-supplies.com/moulding_retainers.php

they have pages and pages of clips.
I finally found some window molding clips the right height there. I bought multiple sets from the usual suspects, but all were taller than my originals.

Good luck.

Thanks for the link. I ordered the clips from the link I posted. Its only 10.00 I just didn't want to end up with 100.00 in clips LOL.

I get it. Things like this can be maddening. GM used so many different ones over the years. I actually spent much more on the "assembly line correct" clips that all the vendors sell. Got them from three sources, thinking each time they would be right. There must be an awlful lot of 69 Camaros out there with the windshield trim up above the roof. I ended up buying a box of 50 that were a match to my originals for about $10.
