Default Need Help, BE rear date

I know the first cars were delivered Dec. 68. Is BE 11 29 8 a known correct date?

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks

No it is not. The first two ZL1s had Nov '68 axles [and perhaps a Yenko] but not that date.

That calls it into question perhaps but does not rule it out. There isn't much hard data on the initial run of Yenkos.

Matt, I thought the same thing until I looked at it for the third time and found all of the E's stamped on the opposite axel tube. This is the same as other kk and bv rears that I have from the same time period. I think it threw everyone off because it's so early.

I believe you're thinking of the complete march dated rear that was fake...this is bare housing only.
