OK guys, finally got some pics of my 4.10 gears & posi unit. Any ideas what it dates out at? Looks to be GM? Thanks...

That planetary case was used on any Chevrolet vehicle w/4:10,4:56,4:88 during 1966-72.
Can't make out the date too well, but looks like it's upside down, and maybe I 69,for September 6th,1969. The ring & pinion go together & were installed on any 1965-69 Chevrolet vehicle w/4:10,and all 1970-72 Chevelle/Elcamino/Camaro w/4:10 too. Showing a date of January,1970 on it,it most likely came in one of the later,or was sold OTC back then. |

If you look closely, the pinion iis dated December of 1969.

I believe the posi would have a date stamped in the edge of the flange that the ring gear bolts to. Should be some single digit letters stamped there.
